Red Death

Sometimes I really like the way my makeup comes out so when I have some free time I like to document it. In this case a quick snap shot that I took standing in front of my window came out quite well. Of course I spent ours in photoshop enhancing this image to make it as natural looking as possible. When I finish an image like this and go back and look at my older work I seriously cringe at how horrible my retouching skills were back then.
In case anyone is wondering here's a list of some of the makeup I used:
Lips: Nars - Cruella Velvet Matte Lip Pencil
Face: Makeup Forever HD Primer, Lorac POREfection - PF1
Eyes: Urban Decay eyeshadow primer, Black Liquid Liner by Stilla, Buxom Mascara, Red eyeshadow by Hard Candy (forgot the name)
Brows: Maybelline black eyebrow pencil, lightly filled in my natural brows
How I made this image:
1. Makeup
2. Nikon D80 camera with 18-135mm Nikkor lens
3. Stood in front of a window with natural light as the sun was going down
4. Uploaded raw file into photoshop, did some editing tricks, color enhancements, and a bit of sharpening and voila!
