Asbury Park Night Shooting
Black and White night shots I took recently of Asbury Park, NJ | Photos © 2015 Sarah Smith www.sasphotoimaging.com. Check out my Flickr page for more HERE
Asbury Park Winter Beach Sunrise
This was the first time in the 4 years of living in Asbury Park that I actually got to see and photograph the sunrise on the beach. Oddly enough on a freezing winter day but it was so beyond gorgeous. More can be seen on my Flick Page HERE. Photos © 2015 Sarah Smith www.sasphotoimaging.com

Route 22 Diner
Route 22 Diner © 2011 Sarah Smith www.sasphotoimaging.com
I finally took some time out to go through a bunch of old photos that I never got around to edit. This is an old photo of the abandoned diner on route 22 in NJ. My boyfriend and I spotted this place as we were on our way to photograph our friends wedding and being totally prepared with camera equipment, after seeing this place we couldn't pass up the opportunity to turn around and quickly get some shots. After working on this one today I'm very happy we stopped to capture this place.
As for this being a brand new image, I'd like to think that once the photo is retouched and completed that's when it's officially born so, in that case this is my first photo of 2013, otherwise I took this back in 2011. I've taken many photos since that I still have to edit and I'd definitely like to catch up with everything eventually.

New Lens & Deep Cut Gardens
I just picked up the Tokina 11mm-16mm super wide angle lens yesterday. I am SO deeply in love with this lens and I'm feeling a lot more inspired to take photos now.

Here's one of the shots I got at Deep Cut Gardens, inside of a gazebo, testing out the new lens. There are more photos of the garden from this location here on Flickr.
Very excited to shoot more!!
